Deze verse, zelfgemaakte salsa saus is heerlijk als toevoeging in je tortilla, burrito, fajita of taco.
Het geeft een lekkere, scherpe touch en kan je recept net de extra smaak of kracht geven die het nodig heeft en ervoor zorgt dat het recept af is.
Deze salsasaus is super simpel te maken en is bovendien gezond, hij bestaat namelijk uit alleen maar natuurlijke ingrediënten.
Welke tomaten?
Zorg dat je gepelde tomaten hebt. Ik pak die uit blik, maar het maakt niet zo gek veel uit welke variant je dan hebt, het gaat toch in de blender.
Milde of hete salsa saus?
Je kunt de salsa natuurlijk zo heet maken als je zelf wilt.
Heb je hem liever mild? Voeg dan geen of weinig jalapeño peper toe.
Wil je hem heet? Voeg dan meer jalapeño peper toe of pak een rode peper, deze is namelijk heter dan de jalapeño.
Hieronder het recept:
Ingrediënten
200 gr gepelde tomaten
3 el limoensap
½ rode ui
½ jalapeño peper
1 teentje knoflook
1,5 hand koriander
Hoe maak je de salsa?
Verwijder de pitjes uit de jalapeño peper, mix alle ingrediënten in de blender en hoppa je eigen salsa saus is klaar.
Proef even en voeg eventueel naar eigen smaak nog wat van de ingrediënten toe.
Een recept met salsa saus maken?
Probeer eens een tortilla met scrambled eggs, hamblokjes, paprika, gele ui, kaas en avocado. Een heerlijke tortilla waar de salsasaus erg goed bij past!
